Major Announcement: Partnering with Hyper Racer

Announcement time, we have just partnered with Hyper Racer as the official Hyper Customer Racing provider!

We are proud to provide Hyper Racer customers with support for sales, leasing plans, “Arrive & Drive” packages, storage, maintenance, transport and track requirements.

Summons Racing founder, Rob Summons, is extremely pleased with the association with Hyper Racer. “We absolutely love Hyper Racer, the low cost ethos of going racing as well as the product itself, an extremely fast racing car”, he said. When prompted about how the association came about, he added, “The Hyper Racer team made it clear that they were fast running out of space and in desperate need of room to scale and grow to fill the number of orders coming in.”

About Hyper Racer

Hyper Racer is a small team of passionate enthusiasts, building handcrafted open-wheeler racer cars in Lilydale, Victoria. The team embodies a legacy of racing passion coursing through their veins.

They have created the Hyper Racer X1, a nimble open-wheel racer, fuelled by a 195hp GSX1340R Hayabusa engine. It epitomises speed and agility, weighing only 390kgs dry (Hillclimb spec), or 400kgs (Race spec) and delivers unrivalled performance.

Accessible yet exhilaratingly fast, Hyper Racer is both a dream and a reality for racing enthusiasts worldwide.

About Summons Racing

Summons Racing is a grass-roots racing team founded in 2019 after purchasing and rebuilding a Nissan Nismo GTR GT3 car for the purpose of racing in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Australian Championship. The entire journey is available as a video log series on Youtube.

After discovering the Hyper Racer X1 in late 2022, the team purchased a car, strapping in factory driver Niko French to campaign the 2023 season. Seeing success with multiple P2 and P3 finishes, the team looks to help the series (recently titled the 2024 Australian Drivers’ Championship) grow as much as it can by supporting increased production at the factory as well as offering storage, maintenance, transport and track support options for current and future owners.

By providing the space to grow and the manpower to handle routine maintenance and repairs for X1 owners, the Hyper Racer factory is free to focus on the manufacturing of new cars to add to the grid throughout the 2024 season and beyond.
