If you’re travelling to One Raceway in Tirranaville, NSW (previously known as Wakefield Park), especially for the final round of the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series this weekend (25th to 27th October 2024), read on below.
Melbourne-based Hyper Racer X1 team, Summons Racing, have been busy reaching out to the Goulburn community about the re-opening of One Raceway. Excitingly, a number of business owners have pledged support as the excitement for the motorsport world’s return to the track and the positive impact it has on the local economy continues to build. We would like to encourage the greater motorsport community to engage and return the favour to these businesses who openly support the return of racing in Goulburn.
We would like to first highlight the Goulburn locals, Trappers Bakery and Corang Estate Winery. These two businesses have shown a huge passion for our motorsport’s return and we highly recommend teams and spectators at this weekend’s event and the many others that follow to visit these businesses and thank them for their support with your friends and family.
Trappers Bakery Goulburn
Trappers Bakery is located just off the freeway, a stone’s throw from Braidwood Road, the main highway leading from the town of Goulburn to One Raceway. We highly recommend stopping past for breakfast on the way to the track each morning at what is “one of the top spots to drop into when passing Goulburn”, we recommend their famous selection of home-made pies which feature in almost every one of their 5-star reviews!
Corang Estate
Corang Estate is a short 20-minute drive south of One Raceway in the village of Tarago and is the perfect place for spectators at the circuit to head for lunch. The Corang Estate cellar door welcomes walk-ins and offers fine wines and local & regional gourmet foods. Jill Bynon and her team take pride in their dedication to customer service, educating guests on their wide selection of wines and most importantly for lunch, the cheese is to die for!
High Country Automotive and Muscle Car Warehouse
We are also excited to see support from greater regional NSW with High Country Automotive, a collective of new car dealers located 2 hours south in Cooma, and even as far as Sydney itself with Kogarah-based Aussie muscle and racing car specialist Muscle Car Warehouse pledging their support. Whether it’s commercial vehicles, daily drivers, or track-only machinery, these are the dealers for New South Wales car enthusiasts to call first.
Summons Racing would like to thank all the local and greater NSW businesses who have shown support as racing returns to Goulburn, and the team is excited to get up there this weekend and generate the biggest possible return we can for these amazing locals who support us and the sport we love.
Look for the logos on the #50 Summons Racing Hyper Racer X1 this weekend and make sure to tune in live on Kayo, Fox Sports, SBS Free-to-air TV, Facebook, or YouTube so you don’t miss any of the action as championships are decided in the season’s final round.
